Civil status certificate or civil status confirmation (not older than 1 month): This document indicates the current civil status data, e.g. name and marital status.
Family certificate (proof of marriage) : This document proves the place and date of the marriage and contains the current personal details of the wife, husband and joint children. The family record card is reissued due to a new civil status event (e.g. birth, death, child recognition).
Partnership certificate: This document indicates the place and date of registration of the registered partnership as well as the names and hometowns of the partners before and after registration.
Certificate of deregistration from the Swiss residents' registration office (deregistration date not older than 6 months) or certificate of residence abroad. This document indicates the place of residence of the registered person at the time of departure from Switzerland or arrival abroad.
Certificate of inheritance: The certificate of inheritance (also called certificate of inheritance or certificate of heirship) provides information about the group of persons entitled to inherit and is required in order to be able to dispose of the inheritance.
Certificate of registered marital status (date of issue per date of death): This document provides information about the registered person's parents, spouse and children.
